In the first quarter of 2025, Finland's top news and magazine apps showed varied performance on a unified platform, combining data from both iOS and Android. This analysis, based on Sensor Tower's data, highlights key trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active user engagement.

Yle from Yleisradio Oy saw a peak in weekly downloads in early February, reaching approximately 9.9K. Active users also increased significantly during this period, peaking at around 398K in the first week of February.

Helsingin Sanomat, published by Sanoma Media Finland, experienced consistent weekly revenue growth, culminating in $10K in early March. Downloads showed a high of 3.4K in late February, while active users remained stable, hovering around 338K.

IS – Ilta-Sanomat also from Sanoma Media Finland, recorded a notable weekly revenue increase, peaking at $10.7K in mid-February. Downloads reached a high of 2K towards the end of February, with active users fluctuating around 224K by the end of March.
